Our girls put up a great fight against Minnehaha Academy last night and played HARD against a very good team. Unfortunately, we didn’t come out on top. Hopefully the girls got a good nights sleep and continue to hold their heads HIGH because we face Pequot Lakes tonight at 8 pm! DETAILS: LCWM plays Pequot Lakes at 8:00pm Thursday at Gangelhoff Center, Concordia-St. Paul, 235 Hamline Ave. N. The game could start early, depending upon the length of previous games. Fans should plan to arrive plenty early! Tickets: https://mshsl.hometownticketing.com/embed/event/150 Tickets must be purchased online. This is a different ticket site than Wednesday's game. Parking: There are no parking passes available for schools playing at Concordia. There are several parking lots around the campus and there is on street parking on Marshall Ave. as well as side streets. Be sure to abide by the signs that restrict parking in some areas. Street parking is free; there may be a small parking fee for on campus lots. A PDF docs with spectator guidelines will be added to the school website later this morning!!

Students MUST have a ticket purchased and SHOW the ticket before boarding the bus! You MUST sign up for the bus by NOON ON TUESDAY, March 15 if you are planning to ride the bus! First off, congratulations to the girls basketball team on punching their ticket to the state tournament! With that being said, and softball practice starting this week, we will be doing this a little different to start our first week of softball. I am asking girls who are on the varsity team to not show up this week at all and focus on bringing home a championship! As for anyone else in grades 8-12, we will be practicing Monday- 5:30-7. Tuesday 3:30-5- bring clothes for practicing outside, and ending early enough to get to the boys game at MSU vs Maple River. No practice Wednesday or Thursday so you can cheer on the lady knights! We will have practice Friday from 3:30-5 as well. Any questions you can message me on here, or you can email me at bbosma@isd2071.k12.Mn.us. Thank you and Go Knights!

The goal of the MSHSL athletic programming has always been to provide sports experiences for high school athletes with disabilities in the same manner that they have been provided for non-disabled athletes. MSHSL wanted to provide interscholastic sports opportunities where none previously existed. This has been achieved in the state of Minnesota. Minnesota is the first state where adapted sports have been officially sanctioned by a state high school league. The following indoor sports are offered by the MSHSL: Adapted Soccer (Fall), Adapted Floor Hockey (Winter), Adapted Softball (Spring) and Adapted Bowling (Spring). It's been almost 18 years since LCWM had an Adapted Bowling team. They won the state championship in 2001 and 3rd place in 2003. Past coaches included Jeanne Madsen and Randy Gustafson. The team started practices on March 2 and their first match will be on March 16 versus JWP/Waseca. The team is coached by Susan Gengler and Eric Ouren.
