Nutritious lunches are available for purchase by ISD 2071 students.
LCWM ELEMENTARY provides a complete school lunch, which means the students will have all five food groups when they leave the serving window.
Elementary students have the choice of soup and a sandwich everyday instead of the entrée. The menu stays the same each week:
MondayChicken Noodle / BolognaTuesdayVegetable Beef / TurkeyWednesdayChicken Noodle / HamThursdayVegetable Beef / PBJFridayTomato / Grilled Cheese
The soup meal is completed with fruit, vegetable, and milk.
Secondary school students may choose from the regular hot lunch line or a soup/sandwich line. They are also offered a salad line that includes lettuce salad and fresh fruits/vegetables that they can add to their regular meal every day of the week. Secondary students have a wide variety of choices at the cash only ala carte line that is open daily during lunch.
BREAKFAST is served to students PK-12. The breakfast menu consists of bread and/or cereal, fruit and milk, and protein.
Please keep your family lunch account current so your child(ren) will never charge by sending lunch money before your account has a zero balance. For a complete description of the district's policies and procedures, please go to the district's School Lunch Policy and the Lunch Charging Procedure.
Lunch statements are sent home each Friday in the elementary school Friday folders. Secondary school students are reminded in the lunch line when they need to bring money. You may call the school offices or the District Office at any time to find out the balance in your lunch account.
If you have any questions about the food service program at any time during the school year, call 726-6610 or 726-2323. Thank you for your participation and support.
