This week is National School Counselor Week: February 6-10, 2023! We want to publicly acknowledge and say THANK YOU to our counselors (and social workers) for the work they do EVERY DAY at LCWM! There's not a day that goes by where students aren't in their offices talking about hard stuff in life, future planning, or just having normal relationship building conversations. Our counselors have a tremendous impact in helping our students achieve school success, process through life's moments, and plan for a career. THANK YOU LCWM school counselors for all you do!!

Scarlet from The Raptor Center visited LCWM Elementary School today! She brought along a Red-tailed hawk, an American Kestrel falcon, a Great horned owl, and a Bald eagle! Scarlet was very informative, and we loved having her here to tell us all about Raptors!

This will be Moeller’s 19th year coaching track and the twelfth year coaching at LCWM-Nicollet, the first four were in the early 1990s while she was attending MSU, Mankato.

Miss Johnson's 5th Grade class has been busy! Last week they made lego bridges then tested their architecture. Today they had their first mystery skype of the year! They asked yes or no Geography based questions to figure out the location of the other class. They learned the class they were skyping was from Missouri. Both schools shared facts about their state.
