SECONDARY PARENTS/GUARDIANS: We will be slightly changing the times and format of breakfast at the Secondary School to better accommodate our students and make sure they are fed before the start of the day! We are excited to be offering grab and go items in the line, in addition to the hot breakfast item, so students can choose either option. The kitchen will also be open 15 minutes earlier, at 7:30 am, so kids who arrive early to school or are involved and finished with their morning activities can go to the cafeteria and grab something before the day. The grab and go items are prepackaged for ease, like muffins or banana bread. Just a reminder, there is NO CHARGE for breakfast as long as students take a qualified breakfast! This is includes the main item, fruit, and milk. If you have questions, please contact the school office.

Mr. Ouren's Lifeskills class visited Welsh Heritage Farm last week! While they were there they learned about the proper way to pick apples, how bees won't sting them if they aren't bothered, the difference between apples when they're ready or not, and also were able to taste test the different varieties they have available, including the apple cider donuts! When they returned, they put together some of their own creations; last week apple crisp and today they are enjoying "apple nachos"!
