LCWM Schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18, 2025 due to the extreme cold warning that is in effect for our area and in consideration for the timing of our morning bus routes.

The second of three school board/student council breakfasts was this morning. Students discussed snow week, training room, PSEO classes, ideas on improving school culture, among other things. It was a great conversation!

The varsity girls basketball team will play at MSU on Saturday, February 1, at approximately 5:00 PM, against Tri City United in the MSU Coaches vs. Cancer showcase. Tickets can be purchased at the District Office this week, with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
IMPORTANT: All fans need a ticket to attend. While you can also purchase tickets directly at MSU, the funds will go to MSU, not the American Cancer Society.
Your ticket will grant you access to all the games at MSU on Saturday!

LCWM students had the opportunity to attend the Construct Tomorrow event again earlier this year. Construct Tomorrow was founded in 2013 to bring awareness to high school students about the remarkable post-secondary career opportunities in the construction and building trades industries.

Finals week doesn't just mean big cumulative tests! Mrs. Thorson's health class students have been busy researching and learning about different topics that interested them. Students created their informational boards and presented to secondary students and staff this week.





Eighth grade physical science students independently showing off all they've learned about how chemical reactions take place, the evidence that they have happened, and determining which types occurred.

On Monday, the high school student council members planned an "hour of wellness" during KASTL time. There were several different stations including yoga, open gym, coloring sheets, hot cocoa, and service dogs! Students were able to roam around and go from activity to activity and enjoyed their time!
