LCWM Nicollet junior Charlie Gengler competed in the Class A State Cross Country meet held Saturday at the University of Minnesota Les Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights. Gengler ran a time of 18:10.8 for the 5000 meter course. This was Gengler's second state cross country meet as he also competed in the 2022 championship race! Congrats Charlie!!

The first of three school board/student council breakfasts was held this morning. Student council members shared updates on activities, thoughts on start times and lunch, and ideas to "spruce up" the walls in the building! It was a great conversation between student council members, the school board and Superintendent Benson.

A short-call substitute teaching license is available to individuals who hold either a bachelor's degree or are enrolled in a teacher preparation program and have completed student teaching. The short-call substitute teaching license is valid for three years. Ballots are mailed to registered voters about 30 days before the election. You can return your ballot by mail or drop it off at your polling place on Election Day. The Facility Bond Referendum is on the back of the ballot, so don't forget to flip it over and vote!
