High School Math League

High school math league consists of a team of 9-12th grade students who compete in math competitions.  The events have complex problems in the following subject areas:  advanced algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and advanced geometry.  The team competes five times during the school year from November until February.  LCWM competes in the Minnesota Valley Division.

In addition, we compete in the Minnesota Mathematics League contests in both algebra 1 and higher-level high school courses.

Practices are held at 7:45am on various days - check the schedule on the back board in Room 215 for more information.

Math League qualifications for lettering:

-Participation in a number of meets and practices. 

-The accumulation of at least 10 points.

-Coach's discretion.
