Course Description: Algebra II will explore families of functions, including linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, radical and rational functions. Students will learn to represent functions in multiple ways – as verbal descriptions, equations, tables and graphs. Students will learn to model real-world situations using functions and be able to solve problems arising from those situations. Other topics include probability, data analysis, geometry and trigonometry.
- Calculator: Some sort of scientific calculator. The calculator on the Chromebook is nice, but do not do all of the operations we need.
- Chromebook: The textbook and assignments are all online, so having your Chromebook or is crucial!
